(This message was added in version 6.7.0.) in /home/blesseddivinecreations/domains/blesseddivinecreations.com/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 6114We are the mother and daughter duo of Blessed Divine Creations. We are originally from Syracuse, NY. We moved to the Janesville area in 1999 after my father transferred to the General Motors Plant here.
Paulette Reddish is a wife of 41 years and a mother of three children. She graduated from Onondaga Community College with a degree in Computer Science. She specializes in event planning, décor, candles, hand sanitizer lotion, whipped body butter, and mason jar gifts. She is also the Pastor of Thy Kingdom Come Ministries.
Paquita Purnell is the mother of three beautiful children. I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Law and Government and Communications. I specialize in custom gift baskets, hair accessories, tutus, fragrance body oils, custom apparel, making cinnamon roasted pecans and cashews, and event planning and coordinating.
In 2010, I (Paquita) started to create gift baskets for my daughter for Easter. She was three years old at the time and I had gone to a department store to pick out a gift basket for her for Easter. I noticed that none of the baskets had any toys or candy she really liked and the cost of the baskets was high and you only got a few toys and a couple of pieces of candy. So I decided that I would take that $20.00 that I was going to spend on her basket and I created my own Easter basket with all the toys and candies she liked. Soon after, friends and family took notice of her Easter baskets and begin to ask me to create baskets for them. I did it as a hobby for four years.
The company started as an idea that was formed while preparing for my wedding in 2013. My mother and I had 2 months to plan my wedding and not a ton of money to do it. We are both very creative and we decided that we could do the wedding décor ourselves instead of renting equipment, buying flowers and other décor. We brought the tulle, the arch, and put the bouquets for the bridesmaid together using silk flowers. It turned out beautifully. Our Bishop Eugene S Johnson of Madison Pentecostal Assembly encouraged us to think about turning our creativity into a business. He always told us that the skills that you acquire at church can be transferred into owning your business.
In December 2014, Blessed Divine Creations was created. We started out providing our services to our church for church councils, weddings, and receptions, then we eventually ventured out to doing vendor shows. We choose the name Blessed Divine Creations because we wanted to be a blessing to our customers and the meaning of the words combined aligns with our faith. We specialize in Customized gift baskets, Mason jar gifts, No-sew fleece blankets, Hair accessories, Tutus, Fragrance body oils, Cinnamon roasted pecans and cashews, and Event Planning. Our motto is Gifts, Baskets, and More created just for you.
